E-mail migration

E-mail migration without losing messages

E-mail migration requires mailbox preparation, MX records and domain authentication. Mail clients, webmail and sending/receiving tests are also important.

Before MX switch

Prepare a list of mailboxes, aliases, forwards and mail clients, then configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC.

On migration day

MX change should be paired with webmail login tests, receive/send tests, encrypted port checks and SMTP settings in applications.

After migration

Check SpamBox, daily reports, domain reputation, delivery confirmations to recipient servers and user reports.
