Domains, DNS and transfer

Is a domain not working, does DNS still point to the old server, or do you want to transfer it? First determine whether the issue concerns the registry, delegation or a single record.

Start with the symptom

Open the closest question. Each answer gives the first diagnostic step and a direct route to a tool or detailed guide.

1. How can I check whether a domain is available?

Enter a full domain or just a name in the Hostilla search engine. We check .pl through NASK, .eu through EURid and global domains through the Ascio path. Final confirmation takes place during ordering.

2. Why does a domain not work after a DNS change?

Compare nameservers and A, AAAA, MX and CNAME records. A change can become visible at different times because of TTL and resolver caches. Do not make more changes until the incorrect layer is identified.

3. How can a domain be transferred to Hostilla.pl?

Prepare the AuthInfo code, verify the registrant e-mail address and start the transfer in the customer panel. A .pl transfer is generally free, while some other TLDs require a fee combined with renewal. Additional requirements depend on the registry.
