Panel logins

The customer panel is for services, payments and contact. cPanel is for the hosting account, domains, files, databases and mail. Webmail is for working with an e-mail mailbox. A support ticket should always say which panel the problem concerns.

Mail program configuration

For Outlook, iPhone Mail, eM Client and Thunderbird, keep one rule: login is the full e-mail address, password is the mailbox password, and servers plus ports should be taken from cPanel/webmail configuration. IMAP is preferred for synchronization and SMTP should use authentication and encryption.

What should a support request include?

Concrete details help most: domain, account, mailbox, time of the event, last change, error message, screenshot, example URL or message headers. It lets support check DNS, SSL, e-mail, logs, backups and the application without a long back-and-forth.
